Dhoni, teammates safely evacuated after fire at Delhi hotel

New Delhi, Mar 17 : Former team India skipper MS Dhoni and his Jharkhand teammates were safely rescued from a hotel in the national capital after fire broke out in its complex, early this morning.
The blaze broke out in Dwarka’s Welcome hotel, where the former skipper was staying, at around 0630 hrs.
Thirty fire tenders were rushed to the spot, who were able to douse the flames at 0750 hrs.
Though no casualty was reported, the team’s kit were reduced to ashes.
The Ranchi lad is in the national capital to participate in the ongoing Vijay Hajare Trophy and was scheduled to play the semi-final today at the Palam cricket ground.
