Madeenat-ul-Uloom celebrates Annual Dastaarbandi function at Kishtwar

Kishtwar, May 13:  As an event of annual Dastarbandi is always scheduled in a Madrassa at the time of pass out of Haafiz and Molvi, the  customary  event is traditionally ceremonised in the Islamic institutions through out world , the Madrassa Madeena-tul-Uloom Faridiya Asraria celebrated the Dastarbandi of 6 Haafiz-e-Quran at its HQ AsrarAbad kishtwar on saturday.

The programme was held under the overall supervision of  Mohtamim Madrassa,  Sahibzada Mohammad Mujtaba Ulvi  and other spiritual figure  Sahibzada Mohammad Muzaffar Ulvi with the management comparising of chairman All India Muslim personal law Board Dr Khalid H Malik , chairman managment Nazir Ahmad Akhoon, Molana Liyaqat Raza, Principal of Madrassa , Molvi Mohammad Ehsan cashier and Molvi Atta Mohammad Sr Vice president.

The ceremony had two sessions presided over by the Sahibzada Mohammad Mujtaba ulvi and in the first session in his absence the programme was presided over by Dr Khalid Malik.

Different Ulemaas and scholars across the state participated in the programme , Molana Mufti Mohammad Ishaq Nizaami known for his Sufism based lectures  from kashmir threw light  on the Tazkiya Nafs I.e. spiritual refinity of soul in the morning session.

The Mufti Nizami was followed by a scholar from Baba Gulam Shah Badshah University Mufti Mohammad Ibraheem,  who delivered lecture on the Islam and modern challanges.

The morning session closed with the speech of  renowned Mufti of Peer Panjal who chairs the Dar-ul-Iftah Mujaddidiya Alfsani Institute Bhathindi jammu Molana Aslam Misbhahi.

More then 3000 people across the chenab valley participated in the grand Dastarbandi function.

The second session witnessed the speech of fire brand orator and chairman of Tehreek-e-Sout-ul-Awliyah jammu kashmir  who threw light on the spirituality and Islamic values.

Dr Khalid H Malik Ameer-e-Aala Anjuman Ahl-e-Sunnat wal Jamaat chenab valley  representing the management of Madrassa appealed whole muslim ummah irrespective of exclusive groups or maktab-e-Fiker to unite and work for maintenance of peace and harmony by following Quran and Sunnat.The budget of Madrassa along with the balance sheet was also presented by the Dr khalid H Malik.

Later, the Dastarbandi of six Haafiz – e-Quraan was ceremonized in a traditional  Islamic ways which was witnessed by more the 50 Ulemaas ,Muftis and scholars besides ended with the blessing of more then 3000 people of Chenab Valley.

At the end, a special prayer was also offered for peace, prosperity and brotherhood for the Chenab Valley in particular and whole state in general.
